Material didático na educação de jovens e adultos: avaliação dos mediadores de leitura do município de Conde-PB

Reading is a social activity and the educator must consider this view, basing its activities on dialogue practice, where he starts to act as a mediator of learning, in which not only educates, but is also educated, maintaining an exchange knowledge relation with their students and the teaching material used for reading quality is essential for progress. This work aims to analyze the potential and the difficulties found by reading mediators in relation to teaching materials of EJA in the county of Conde-PB. The research, based on qualitative purpose, was composed by a questionnaire that had objective and subjective questions, given to teachers working in the 1st and 2nd stages of EJA in the county of Conde, in which they could appreciate the content of the teaching materials. Analyzing the results, it was observed that the main teaching material used is the textbook offered by the government, which was rated satisfactory by teachers because it meets the expected objectives and can be used for reading mediators of EJA, to add itself to other materials in order to stimulate awareness of citizenship. It is suggested a future research that analyses how students of EJA evaluate this teaching material, if it meets their needs and expectations.
