Análise do PAC da mobilidade urbana em João Pessoa

The high levels of dissatisfaction about public transport in Brazilian cities have demanded higher investments in urban mobility projects, making them able to meet the citizens’ needs over the public transport usage. In Brazil, in the last 10 years, a set of plans, programs and policies related to urban mobility emerged, some examples are: The National Policy of Sustainable Urban Mobility (2004), the National Policy of Urban Mobility (Law 12. 587/2012), the “GAP” of Urban Mobility (2013), among others. In this paper, the city of João Pessoa was chosen, the capital of the state that keeps a population growth proven through research that are included in this paper, it will analyze the “GAP” of urban mobility that has a partnership between the Union and the Municipality.
