Aplicação de QR CODE nos processos de recuperação de arquivos

Accessing documentation quickly and keeping these documents physically stored are constant challenges for information’s professionals. The number of digital documents (created in digital form or transported to the binary world by scanning), for Computers or any other kind of mobile devices, has been increasing. Facing this situation, the idea of applying technologies like QR code in archival reality has emerged, since they allow the development of new applicable interfaces to different information systems or electronic document management. Therefore, we deal with the following research problem: How to combine the QR code features with the recovery process of archival information accessed by mobile devices? The purpose of this research is to explore procedures that speeds up the information retrieval process and make the professional's involved with this function easier. The observation technique was used to allow the preparation of the flowcharts used in the model and it also helped in the development of the prototype. As a result, this work describes the technologies, their applications and presents a functional prototype of the recovery information model using the QRcode as tool.
