Responsabilidade social dos profissionais Bibliotecários/as do setor de referência em relação à disseminação das informações.

The main purpose this research is to investigate that how give social responsibility to librarians from sector of reference in relation to the dissemination of information. Specifically, it intends to identify and to know the profile of librarian from university libraries; characterizing librarian’s activities; Investigating librarian’s abilities in order to social responsibilities. The methodology this study is relating to qualitative approach with feature of collective speech. It is characterized as interpretative research into, which has descriptive and exploratory potential, it was used the bibliographical search, discuss about the concepts and the constructions of theoretical categories. Universidade Federal da Paraíba – UFPB where was carried out a search and it was consulted three librarians who work there. The semi structured interview was the tool applied for collect information which was analyzed using some researches based on the Discourse of the Collective Subject technique. The results shown that Central Library from UFPB is a large source of spread of knowledge that performs activities through the librarians and it focusses on its service that gives information to own users. Finally, it is so important that workers from Reference Service of Library Central from UFPB should be interact with users thereby it will increase their satisfaction day by day.
