A psicopedagogia como forma de intervenção em crianças com TDAH: um olhar docente

The Attention Deficit Disorder / Hyperactivity Disorder has been considered by health professionals as one of the most prevalent disorders and studied in recent years. Articles, magazines and websites is attracting and catching the attention of many professionals and the public in general to the harm and damage caused when their presence in the lives of children. The losses are large and not only hinder the development of children, but in any surroundings that it is: either school, friends, the community and the families themselves. Discuss the need to better understand the educational strategies, enabling and empowering teachers who deal directly with people iagnosed with the disorder, it is one of the objectives of this work, but specifically, seek to know, through the teacher's practice that deals directly with these children, their losses and consequences for life. Based on ten questionnaires, participating teachers from public an d private schools in João Pessoa, they were unanimous in describing what will be the ADHD and the various school and social harm to children and their families. Not forgetting to emphasize the importance of training of professionals who deal directly with the school and the relentless pursuit of strategies that facilitate and work with the deficits arising with the disorder.
