Barbielândia e suas cores: uma análise semiótica do filme de Greta Gerwig
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThis study is focused on comprehending how the representation of Barbielândia is constructed in the film directed by Greta Gerwig. For this research, topics such as the story of the Barbie doll, the construction of its identity as a product of the Cultural Industry, the culture of Barbie, and the impact and scope of his animated films are addressed. Based on the semiotics of Charles Peirce, the representation of Barbielândia is analyzed through the use of pink and blue colors in the visual construction of BarbieLand and the production of the sound atmosphere through the song Pink. The research allows us to conclude that the visuality of Barbielândia expresses a polarized world between female and male, marked by the dichotomy of pink and blue.
