Um algorítmo de otimização para projeto de estruturas de grande porte
Abstract
dc:description.abstractAn iterativa algorithm for, the minimization of an objective function based on optimality criteria concept is derived and its applications to the optimization of large scale structures is described. The basic algorithm for non equality constraints is developed by introducing slack variables in a previously derived algorithm for strict equality constraints. The method generates a sequence of feasible designs and it is shown that if the sequence does converge, it will converge to a local minimum. The developed algorithm is used as the core of a computar program for the automatic design of optimum structures of real life size and complexity.
