O estudo da temperatura em revestimentos betuminosos
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe effects of temperature of bituminous surface layers are studied on the behavior of flexible pavements, mainly concerning deflections, are studied using data from a paving panel at COPPE/UFRJ and an experimental road section at Imbituba, federal highway BR-101, State of Santa Catarina, IPR/DNER. A commented bibliography on temperature effects and methods for predicting temperature profiles is presented. Description is made of the field work, equipment (thermocouples and authomatic register) used, and results obtained after several months. From the data analysis it is confirmed the importance of temperature effects and the need for temperature being taken into account in deflection measurements. Further research is suggested.
