A commented bibliography on temperature effects and methods for predicting temperature profiles is presented. Description is made of the field work, equipment (thermocouples and authomatic register) used, and results obtained after several months. From the data analysis it is confirmed the importance of temperature effects and the need for temperature being taken into account in deflection measurements.
