Abstract

dc:description.abstract

The exegesis documents the musical application by the author of philosophical and aesthetic ideas practiced by three visual artists and one musician. In response to these ideas, the author devised exercises and strategies that served to enhance his own creative and personal expression. This expanded creativity and expressivity became the basis for two recitals, which were spontaneous musical responses to the tale of ’A rake’s progress’.
