Versuche zur asymmetrischen organokatalytischen de novo Synthese von Amino-, Desoxy- und Thiozuckern

Due to the versatile biological importance of carbohydrates, the field of asymmetric synthesis of monosaccharides is gaining more and more attention. Rare and unnatural carbohydrates, as well as those with an uncommon pattern of substitution are of particular interest. Within the framework of this dissertation, new concepts for the direct asymmetric organocatalytic synthesis of amino-, deoxy- and thiosugers were investigated. Different substituted chemical equivalents of dihydroxyacetone were synthesized and tested in the organocatalytic aldol- and Mannich-reaction. It has been shown that the synthesis of substituted pentoses is possible by the use of unsymmetrical substituted DHA-derivatives as donor-substrates.
