Desired outcomes of public elementary and secondary education in Illinois: A Delphi study

Abstract

dc:description

Certain stakeholders in public education have significant influence on decisions to support the educational system. These stakeholders will support education if they believe it to be efficient. Efforts to determine school efficiency, however, require specification of the outcomes of the public schools. Identifying stakeholder expectations for the outcomes of schooling was the primary purpose of this study.
