This was mainly a qualitative study that explored the personal and organizational environmental factors that influence late career teacher success. Eighteen teachers participated in this study. The teachers were selected for this study by their building principals. Six teachers were selected from each of three high schools in DuPage County, Illinois. Each teacher had over 20 years of teaching experience. There were an equal number of male and female teachers participating in the study.
