Intranetbasierte Gruppendiskussionen. Entwicklung eines theoretisch-methodologisch fundierten Konzepts einer Methode zur prozessorientierten Evaluation von Studium und Lehre an deutschen Hochschulen
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe present thesis pursues the aim of analysing the possibilities of asynchronous internetbased discussion groups for the purpose of evaluation research in the university sector. Concerning this, the author exposes a critical reflection of evaluation research in general and university evaluation in particular. This shows the necessity of alternative meta-theoretical approaches. Subsequent to this, the author proposes an approach based on structuration and discourse theory and the interpretive paradigm to derive principles for designing and evaluating a research method for processoriented university evaluation. An evaluation of the introduced method of intranetbased group discussions indicates a number of positive characteristics for a discourse oriented evaluation practise. The author concludes with three examples of use of intranetbased group discussions.
