The Need For Parent Involvement In Schools To Support Student Academics And Growth
Abstract
dc:description.abstract
This policy advocacy document serves as a tool for increasing parent involvement in schools that will promote the success of our students. The research completed involved board policies and Illinois school code that details the requirements for schools that receive federal funding to include the family group to strengthen connections. The results of this policy implementation will detail opportunities that a school district must provide to engage the families in the learning environment to form a partnership focused on students’ successes.
