"The writer recognizes the value and reliability of the Otis-Ottawa Mental Tests of Ability. However, he has to write this survey against some underlying assumptions that this instrument is not reliable and does not Measure the scholastic ability of students, There art statistical aethods and procedures which can show that the valwe and nature of I,A, tests have televance to the scores obtained in school examinations, The method is known to be the mathematical process which consists mainly in finding the product-stoaenit of coefficients of correlation. The writer's venture is concerned with this mathematical and statistical method in view of finding the relationship existing between the Otis-Ottawa raw scores and the average school marks; he is also interested in finding the correlative results between the average in Mathematics and the general average of the students. The formulation of these two hypothesis shall be followed by a presentation of tables, which will be used to discuss and interpret the quantitative and qualitative aspects of the project."
