Abstract
dc:description.abstractNormal siblings with handicapped brothers and sisters experience a unique gamut of both positive and negative feelings and emotions as the result of their family relationships. This study seeks to identify those feelings and emotions, explore how bibliotherapy might help the psychological adjustment of normal siblings with handicapped brothers and sisters, and evaluate 23 young adult novels written during the past 25 years to determine how realistic they are in the portrayal of this special sibling relationship.
