A proposta de trabalho com gráficos no ensino fundamental II: análise de uma coleção de matemática.

This work aims to discuss the proposal working with graphics in the Field of information treatment in mathematics collection of educational books most used in II- fundamental teaching level in João Pessoa city, PB. The work comprises a qualitative and quantitative study based on a bibliography analysis, observing the diversity, evolution and types of graphics present in each volume of that collection books, as also if they enable the construction of procedures for collecting, organizing, communicating and interpreting data. In our theorical perspective, we consider discussions of Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (National Curricular Parameters) and authors like Van de Walle (2009), among others. As a result of the analysis, we warn about the need of to fix same graphics, besides the better distribution and greater diversity of contribute for student learning , in relation this important conceptual element so explored in others field of knowledge and daily life.
