Terras em que plantei: memórias de uma prática bibliotecária

This study deals with the memories experienced by a Librarianship intern and it aims to evaluate all the positive and negative aspects regarding the Reading Room of the Aldeia Literária SOS Paraíba, located in João Pessoa, by identifying the problems and, afterwards, implementing the solutions and the improvements in the mentioned place. The goal of the study is to register the activities carried out in the Com Vivência Project; to reflect on the experienced librarian practices; and to recognize the supervised internship as an environment of social practices as well. The used methodological approach consists of a qualitative research for indicating that people are considered as actors in a constant learning process, suggesting a range of possible individual interpretations of the social relationships. The action-research was the method employed, once the whole researching was experienced by the intern and, from the results, changes for improving the environment were established. For this purpose, the Reading Room was diagnosed. It can be concluded that, from the identified perceptions in the diagnosis and in the daily experience in the Reading Room, it was possible to transform it into a more accessible place for the children, by facilitating also the work routine as an educator, a librarian, a social transformer, a facilitator and a story teller.
