Um estudo sobre a utilização das informações contábeis na tomada de decisões das micros e pequenas empresas do município de Pilar - Paraíba

Micro and small enterprises play an important role in the economy, they are largely responsible for generating employment and income. They represent 99% of all existing companies in Brazil and responsible for 20% of gross domestic product (PIB). Given the importance of these businesses to the economy, accounting information is of great value to the decision-making process by providing information about the financial and economic life of the institution, to provide managers to make the best decision for your companies, so this work has emerged with the main objective to analyze the contribution of micro and small enterprises in the municipality of Pilar - PB. For this, the methodology used to how through research, it was a bibliographical study and a field study. As to the objectives was characterized as descriptive, whose method of approach, represented both qualitative and quantitative. In order to measure this analysis, statistical tests were performed. It was conclude that 83,3% of MSEs of Pilar – PB have a level of perception indifferent about the contributions of accounting information in the management of their business process.
