Distribuição espacial do emprego: uma análise para a indústria do Estado do Paraná no período de 1994 a 2012

This paper aims to describe and make an analysis of the spatial distribution of industrial employment in mining and processing in the municipalities of the state of Paraná in the period 1994 to 2012 For this demonstration, the percentage change of the shares of formal employment appears the municipalities of Paraná, the Hoover coefficient and coefficient of Specialization. In addition, the study also aimed to draw a profile of one of the industrial sectors, taking into account characteristics of the average size of establishments, age, education level, gender of the workers and pay them. Data were extracted from the Annual Report of Social Information (RAIS) and the Department of Labor and Employment (MTE) site. Also adopted the National Classification of Economic Activities (NACE 95). Based on the information collected, it appears that there is still the existence of an industry with strong differentiation in the number of employees as to their gender as well as a change in the level of education for most of the formal industrial employment. It is also observed that the Paraná industry is still quite high, despite a trend towards devolution. And when it says the regional specialization, municipalities still still have a high degree of specialization, although some of them show an increase in industrial diversification or specialization decreased over the years studied.
