In addition, the study also aimed to draw a profile of one of the industrial sectors, taking into account characteristics of the average size of establishments, age, education level, gender of the workers and pay them. Data were extracted from the Annual Report of Social Information (RAIS) and the Department of Labor and Employment (MTE) site. Also adopted the National Classification of Economic Activities (NACE 95). Based on the information collected, it appears that there is still the existence of an industry with strong differentiation in the number of employees as to their gender as well as a change in the level of education for most of the formal industrial employment. It is also observed that the Paraná industry is still quite high, despite a trend towards devolution.
