Políticas públicas para mulheres: o atendimento às mulheres vítimas de violência em João Pessoa - Paraíba

The realization of the present study has as its general theme the Violence against women and mechanisms adopted, through public policies aimed at prevention and the monitoring of existing cases of this type of aggression, the clipping was geographical, that is, focused in the city of João Pessoa, the capital of Paraíba. Were observed the public legal documents whose existence enables the creation and functioning of public policies relating to this theme. The focus in the city of João Pessoa allows the application of a more detailed observation, aimed at existing service units in the capital of Paraiba, the mode of operation of the houses and other components of the range of policies. The bibliographic survey was carried out in parallel to the questionnaires in the field, highlighting a joint research with the purpose of comparing the reality with the filing of the acts. It was noted that policies are effectively applied in the municipality enjoyed and it was possible to count on the numbers of attendances and still know the difficulties of managers in the operation of the services.
