Dificuldades encontradas pelos professores na realização de aulas experimentais em escolas públicas de João Pessoa.

This paper aims to investigate the difficulties encountered by Chemistry teachers in performing experimental lessons in public schools in the town of João Pessoa-PB. It is characterized as a qualitative research that has had the proposed of identify the difficult highlighted by the teachers in the development of lessons taken at the laboratory, analyzing the main causes and realize the importance attached to this type of lesson by the teachers in their practice. The data collection was made through the application of a questionnaire, applied with 50 Chemistry teachers from public schools where they work in the town of João Pessoa. The data analyzes revealed that, for the teachers, the biggest problem for the fail in performing experimental lessons of Chemistry is the physical structure of laboratory, as well as the short time and the lack of support for the planning and the execution of practices activities.
