Proposta metodológica para avaliação da demanda residencial de energia elétrica através do desenvolvimento de uma curva de carga horária

Abstract

dc:description.abstract

The growing electricity demand combined with the emerging power generation technologies have increased the importance of electric power demand models for the electric planning. In that way, demand side management (DSM) measures are being used more often, in order to guarantee de safety and reliability of the electrical systems. Therefore, the need for studying demand-side management measures has increased in recent years. The use of these measures requires a solid knowledge of consumer behavior with regards to both the total power demand and consumption fluctuations during the day and the year. The present work proposes a domestic power demand model to forecast not only the total power consumption, but also the demand profile during a year and during a day. This work also makes a case study in order to validate the methodology proposed. The work also evaluates how efficiency measures may impact the demand profile during the year and the daily load.
