Teamkomposition und ihr Einfluss auf den Erfolg von Gründerteams

This study examines the relationship between a set of entrepreneurial traits on the team level and venture success by analyzing the composition of task and teamwork-related traits of the team members. The sample consists of 119 student teams that competed in a business simulation. The findings show that the same impact of traits proven on the individual level holds true for the team level. Moreover, the findings suggest that teams should be homogeneous in terms of task-related traits but heterogeneous concerning most teamwork-related traits. We also show that a set of teamwork-related traits moderate the relationship between task-related traits and venture success to a significant degree.
