Abstract
dc:description.abstractDoes Psychology help create character? How does Psychology build an interesting person on the stage or screen? Psychology helps us understand why we act the way we do? Psychology is a great tool for actors to bridge the history of the character to his or her present actions. Through my performance of Vassily from Kolonists, Nick from The Time of Your Life and my work with Psychiatrist Dr. Don Fidler, I will explain what my actor process is and how psychology has helped me in creating these characters.
