Opportunities that exist for communication experts in the field of communication consulting
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThis study examined the opportunities that exist for communication experts, particularly graduate students, in the field of consulting. Interviews were conducted with established consultants to determine how consultants describe their job functions, what kinds of consultants are needed in organizations, and what barriers to entry exist for those wishing to enter the field. Results indicate that there are several factors to consider when attempting to enter the field of consultation.
