The present research aim ed to develop and evaluate intervention s to promote IH among a student sample . Participants were placed in one of four conditions; factual writing, prospective writing, self - distancing, and a control condition. The effectiveness of each condition on each of four dependent variables – intellectual humility, tolerance, wisdom and wel l - being - was assessed. However, no significant differences existed between groups on the dependent variables.
