QUANTITATIVE DETECTION OF LIVER-RELEVANT BIOMARKERS BY SERS-IMMUNOLABALED GOLD NANOPARTICLES
Abstract
dc:description.abstractLab-on-a-chip technology has the potential to rapidly change the way experiments are conducted in a variety of fields ranging from medicine to environmental science. Specifically, sensors, detectors, and monitoring devices are increasingly being miniaturized to perform many experiments or measurements on a single chip. In this research, we develop an immunolabeled gold nanoparticle complex capable of detecting liver organoid biomarkers intended for use in a microfluidic device. Human Serum Albumin (HSA) and α-Glutathione S-Transferase (α-GST) are liver biomarkers that indicate liver health and damage respectively. Herein we demonstrate
