Curve Sketching

Abstract

dc:description.abstract

This paper serves as an extension of Eigencurves for Two-Parameter Sturm-Liouville Equations by Binding and Volkmer. Facts about specific sequences of eigenvalues of linear equations developed in Bases and Comparison Results for Linear Elliptic Eigenproblems by Auchmuty are used in order to characterize ( \lambda, μ ) eigencurves of the Sturm-Liouville ODE. A detailed discussion of those tools and their application is given.
