The neurobiological correlates of this control could prove to be a rewarding area of research in the search for better understanding, and ultimately better therapeutics, for drug addiction. The proceeding chapters of this dissertation are aimed elucidating some of the mechanism associated with circadian influences in cocaine reinforcement.
