Results: The proportion of pregnant women with the homozygous CCR2V64I gene was 24.38% and this gene was two times more associated with HIV infection than in those without it ( RR= 2.32, 95% CI-1.38-3.92). No CCR5-Δ32 deletion was detected in the studied population.
