Abstract
dc:description.abstractCultural competence is a relatively recent term describing appropriate ways of working with increasingly diverse cultures in society. By interviewing diabetes practitioners, this study sought to investigate the interaction between scientific knowledge and the practice of diabetes healthcare with patients from non-Western cultural groups.
