A needs analysis for Phillip Island Information Centre, within the Fauna Island project
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe Victorian Department of Conservation & Environment(DCE), "Fauna Island" project brief targeted the redevelopment of the information centre at Newhaven as one of several strategies in improving tourism and the wildlife viewing on Phillip Island. This study examined this little researched priority through a broad review of relevant literature; surveys and interviews with intrastate, interstate, and international visitors to the Island and existing centre; and consultation with relevant tourism operators and providers of tourist related facilities and infrastructure.
