The second study investigated the potential differences in the oxygen uptake when discrete and continuous incremental submaximal protocols were used to determine the relationship between submaximal oxygen uptake and exercise intensity. This second study also aimed to investigate the repeatability of oxygen uptake during continuous incremental submaximal exercise.
