Hotel attributes as viewed by the mature Australian leisure traveller
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe Australian population is ageing. The 'fifty plus' or 'mature' segment of the population will grow rapidly. As a result the number of mature Australians travelling can be expected to increase. Despite this increase, little is known about the travel behaviour of this market segment. This study reviews the travel behaviour, the reasons for travel and the expectations and opinions of mature Australian domestic travellers towards hotel attributes.
