Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe aim of this thesis was to develop a scale to measure psychosocial status of people with chronic illness, resulting in an overall measure of attitude to life post diagnosis, to gauge a measure of physical mobility, and to determine differences and similarities in areas of concern and need, across three diagnostic groups: diabetes, arthritis and stroke.
