In particular, the developing regions of the world will likely be the most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. In this dissertation the region of South East Asia is the focus with respect to the economics of climate change, an area of economics that is subject to great uncertainties with respect to data, model specification and results. South East Asia is a rapidly developing region both economically and socially, and in an environmental sense the countries of the region encompass similar ecosystems and climatic conditions. Both of these factors make it an interesting region for study.
