The parameters measured during the study included color, chemical and five-day biochemical oxygen demand, pH, dissolved oxygen, total organic carbon, ozone residual, total and suspended solids, and turbidity. The results of the investigation showed that color was removed to a significant degree from the selected wastewater by the action of ozone. Up to 80 percent of the original color of the wastewater was removed by ozonation. COD removals ranging from 20 to 30 percent were also measured.
