The research instrument was designed to measure transgenerational family processes, interpersonal relations orientations, coping strategies, and stressful behavioral response patterns of anorexics and bulimics. Separate multivariate analysis of variance procedures were performed on the aforementioned variables to determine significant differences among the groups.
