A study of the lower moments of order statistics of discrete uniform distributions
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThroughout this thesis, we will talk about samples taken with replacement from the discrete uniform population f(x) -1/N where x = l, 2, 3,..., N. All samples will be of size n except in the case of the median, where the sample size will be 2n + l, an odd number.
