Ovulation was induced in 45 day old females by means of PMS and HCG. Progesterone (1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 5.0, or 10.0 mg) was dissolved in peanut oil and administered subcutaneously daily from day 2 to day 20 post coitus. Estradiol (0.2 mcg) was dissolved in peanut oil and administered subcutaneously on day 3 post coitus.
