Rehabilitative Architecture

The following document is the accumulation of assumptions to engage the architectural qualities of water and courtyards in drug rehabilitation recovery centers to improve patient recovery rates and provide a response to the challenges of addiction. The proposed long-term drug rehabilitation center is intended to serve young men between ages of 18-25 who have suffered from drug abuse trauma. The need for improvement in drug rehabilitation is highly prevalent with our current addiction nation's crisis which runs rampant. The work here represents a search to better understand what the role of architecture might provide.
