Six one-hour counseling sessions were conducted for fifteen volunteer experimental subjects. Fifteen control subjects were obtained by direct request. Test anxiety was measured by the Suinn Test Anxiety Behavioral Scale and irrational thought by the Personal Beliefs Inventory. Experimental subjects exhibited a significantly greater reduction in test anxiety and irrational thinking than the control group.
