In first part of this paper these topics will be described: • The beginning of chaos theory. • Indicators of chaos. • Need of cryptography. • Decryption and encryption. • Classification of encryption. Afterward going to link these two sciences by describing two chaotic cryptography algorithms: Baptist’s and Rani - Nitharwal. Will distinguish strengths and weaknesses, go through encryption and decryption steps. One of the main purposes of this work is created messaging application which would encrypt text messages with logistic chaotic map. For messages encryption and decryption Baptista algorithm was chosen. For each chat in application user must choose cipher key – values of r and X0. For program these requirements were raised: • App should work on \"Android\" operating system. • Usage of chaotic algorithm. • Fast text message encryption. • Each chat could have separate cipher key. For testing logistic map algorithm security (randomness of chaotic map) NIST (“National Institute of Standards and Technology”) statistical test suites were chosen. By running tests we distinguish that logistic map is chaotic only in limited amount cipher key combinations. By testing Baptista algorithm we establish that for small amount of text messages it is possible to use it for real time chatting. Although if application would use visual information(photos, videos) it would become a problem for real time chat since it would take significant amount of time to decrypt and encrypt data.","abstract_html":"In this paper we are going to describe the main concepts of chaos theory and cryptography.
