Theoretical part of the research will analyse why companies decide to go public (business cycle, better crediting, financing opportunities) as well as the timing of the IPO. For the analytical part the study will use fundamental analysis for the companies’ financial ratios. The target of this study will be companies which have issued IPOs (in the period of 2016-2020) and are listed in NASDAQ OMX Baltics. There are 5 companies, which fit that requirements. Secondary data from NASDAQ OMX Baltics have been used for the study and time series analysis have done with the chosen companies’ key ratios before IPO and after IPO changes. It was possible to conclude that majority of the companies able to increase their sales revenues and profitability after IPO. Also, it was able to conclude that IPO capitalization and market value of the companies have a positive relationship. As recommendations, the study recommend that companies listing in Baltics region must be monitored and accelerate in order to facilitate more companies in stock exchange and make use of IPOs and expanding companies’ capitalization.
