Stuburą stabilizuojančių pratimų poveikis asmens, sergančio išsėtine skleroze, motorinei funkcijai ir gyvenimo kokybei /
Abstract
dc:descriptionTheoretical analysis of the peculiarities of multiple sclerosis and the possibilities of the application of physiotherapy was performed in the bachelor's thesis. A case study was conducted using the testing method to evaluate the effects of spinal stabilization exercises on the motor function and quality of life of a person with multiple sclerosis. Descriptive mathematical statistics and comparative data analysis were performed. The study included a 44-year-old woman with multiple sclerosis aged 15 years. The wheelchair has been used since 2016. The research took place at the Siauliai University Health, Hypotherapy and Sports Center. The empirical part examines changes in motor and quality of life indicators of a woman diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. The most important conclusions of the empirical research: 1. After the evaluation of the investigated motor function and quality of life before and after the sessions, positive ones were observed for the rehabilitation of functional aspiration (10.34%), depression (50%), anxiety (33.33%), motivation (45.9%), fatigue (39.06%), mental condition (47.1%), physical condition (42.2%). 2. When comparing the evaluation indicators of a subject diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, changes are observed: in the evaluations of torso control, depression, anxiety, motivation for rehabilitation, fatigue and quality of life. A positive change in the results of the study confirms that spinal stabilization exercises improve the motor function and quality of life of a person with multiple sclerosis. However, retest indicators confirm that 5 weeks of rest has a negative effect on motor function and quality of life indicators.
