My master theme – „Trends in Non-Judicial Settlement of Disputes Arising out of Consumer Contracts in the EU and Lithuania“. Topics disclosure will have four tasks designed to reveal the user and the concept of consumer contracts, as well as disputes arising from the use of contracts to a non-judicial regulation. In the finally work also is writing about institution, their competence and dispute settlement procedures Lithuania and the EU. In the practical part is analyzing the disputes arising from consumer contracts of-court settlement features. It also examines alternative dispute resolution. Selected the analysis of documents, analysis of systemic and logical, modeling and comparative methods, as well as the method of aggregation. The implementation of the tasks has been concluded that the use of the proceeding out of court made a lot of changes which became effective only at 2016. On the basis of these amendments provide more opportunities for the consumption of VVTAT settlement of the Commission's decisions shall be carried out compulsorily, if not appealed within 30 days. In the meantime, the EU has started to operate a new system on the basis of EGS, users can submit a complaint online, however, the requirements relating to the complaint, which the main products or services must be purchased over the Internet.
