Analysis of Anti-colonial Violent Resistance in India in the Beginning of the 20th Century. The main subject of the bachelor’s thesis is violent resistance in Indian anti-colonial movement in the beginning of the 20th century. The aim is to reveal how this social process made an influence to countries society, how the anti-colonial movement ended, how they withstood their opinion and became independent. The tasks of the thesis are as deeper as only possible penetrate into the Indian life during the colonial period and thoroughly analyze different historical, social, cultural and political contexts of that period where this problem came from. Going deeper into the anti-colonial movement period, identify how people reacted, what they felt, what they wanted; how they were reaching the independence, analyze violent resistance types. Having considered and analyzed the different contexts and concrete arguments identify the reason why there a violent resistance and why it was not always successful. Also in the thesis will be analyzed activities of Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and of course Sri Aurobindo Ghose. Using theoretical research methods – analytical analysis of the specific primal and secondary sources, also were done conclusions, that anti-colonial movement is finally reached its aim and India became independent. The analysis has shown that citizens of the country had to suffer and worry to reach their aim. This bachelor’s thesis could be used for further research of the Indian anti-colonial movement in the beginning of the 20th century.
